From writers, artists, directors, producers, actors, etc. I'm talking about all the creative people involved with superman over the last 78 years. certain teams that worked so closely together that you can't seperate their work are allowed.

Bump. Cmon, Cam! Ok, ok, ok... I don't have as much specific knowledge for the earlier comics, so I know there are those missing, but- and I think I need to put them in teams to fit the number 1. Siegel and Shuster (the godfathers/creators) 2. Julius Schwartz (editor of Superman comics & guided the comics for the 60s/70s 3. Ilya and Alexander Salkind (initiated the landmark movie series) 4. Donner and Mankiewicz (made the new version a classic) 5. Christopher Reeve (embodied the character for a new generation) 6. George Reeves and Kirk Alyn(embodied it in flesh and blood for years in tv/movies) 7. Curt Swan (the Superman comic artist developed what would be the iconic image of Superman in the 60s/70s) 8. The creator of Lois and Clark & the Smallville tv show creators(Offered another angle on Superman and Lois) 9. The writer who wrote the story introducing the Legion of Superheroes (it may or may not have been Seigel) & Alan Moore (only wrote a few, but some of the most memorable Superman stories ever- the 'last' one for the Silver age particularly & the one that got adapted to Supergirl recently) 10.Fleisher and Bruce Timm (best animated Superman)

I think yours is pretty comprehensive. For a guy who supposedly doesn't know much about early comics you hit on most of the big names of that era that deserve to be mentioned. Your list is so good it also shows how hard the question is to answer. For every person you put on you have to leave someone deserving off. There are so many people that have majorly contributed to Superman over the decades. 1)Zac Syder 2)Henry Cavill 3)David Goyer .............. 1000)Christopher Reeve In all seriousness though who would you pick? I'd love to hear your choices because I know it's gonna be an interesting read.

First Superboys (though I know I'm missing what I think was the failed tv pilot)- John Newton Howard(?), Gerard Christopher & Tom Welling 12. First Supergirls - Helen Slater, Laura Vanderholt, and Melissa Benoist 13. STM's Art Director John Barry (for the crystals and revamped look of the Fortress of Solitude) 14. John Williams & the composer of the tv Superman - for most memorable scores for Superman 15. First Lois Lanes (Noel Neil, Margot Kidder, Terri Hatcher, and Erica Durance- mostly the same interpretation as in the comics) I guess I could go further with the Jimmys, Perrys, and Kents- but I guess lines have to be drawn somewhere.

Why is there so much diversity in the lists if we are allegedly all "Reeve only people"?
