I mean Superman shows up as his birthday and does.... exactly what now?
So he sits next to Ricky and would maybe partake in some cake... how is this supposed to be exciting?
It's not like Superman actually takes the time to engage Ricky on his level to entertain him or anything.

Not to mention Superman upstaged Ricky at his own party!
The party was supposed to be Ricky's day but Superman stole all the attention and forced the poor boy to sit silently in the background while he was awarded the key to the city.
I'm glad Colonel Gus laid that Kryptonite on Superman for this insult.

Ricky's lot. Did Ricky blame himself for the awkward lack of conversation ? Wouldn't be at all surprised what with his father jumping ship. Can't blame him for seeming distracted throughout the movie, though - I just noticed how clearly Lana's nips are on show :

Yeah Ricky's father probably left because Ricky was such a useless waste of skin!
I mean he would not have left Lana because she was hot as heck... but Ricky was such an unholy spawn of Satan that he had no choice but to leave!
