I for one am glad that we never got a Christopher Reeve/ Michael Keaton Batman v Superman movie in the 90's.
The reason is simple... Michael Keaton is 5'9 and Christopher Reeve was 6 '4
It would have been laughable to see Superman literally TOWER over Batman and the movie could never have been taken seriously.

It would have been interesting to have seen Burton or Donner take this on with these actors, with perhaps a Mankiewicz script. One of the main disappointments with BvS is that there was no real contrast in tone or in character. It was Dr. Manhattan meets Dark Knight. While the fx might not be where they are today, these were two great actors- it would have been interesting to see how they would have played off of each other. Keaton's Bruce Wayne wasn't bad- but physically Keaton was too far removed imo from the comics (Bale was closer and more correct in his approach imo- except for Batcough voice)- to be a perfect Wayne imo. Still- since he held the role then, it would have made for some very interesting scenes with Supes/Batman and Clark/Wayne.
