I've been digging the series, but it's a bit dense. Should make more sense when read back-to-back.
That being said, I think Superboy-Prime is such a godawful and annoying character, that I'd like to see him retired for good when this is all finished.

In the beginning, I thought he was a clever twist and sympathetic villain in Infinite Crisis....but the more he's dragged out, the more his motivations seem extremely forced. He's just now 'evil evil bad guy' with no real dimension.
The series is extremely dense, something that should be maybe 9 or 12 issues--- cramming everything seen so far into 5 feels extremely rushed, with so many characters. There's some nice scenes, but to feel really epic, it needed a lot more pages than what was given, I think.
Still, loving the art--- though I wonder how Perez pays the rent, given how slow every book he seems to take comes out.

well its finally over, it was pretty good, but when it's so late it starts to be hard to care. There was some pretty cool 4th wall shattering at the end, where SBP is reading a real thread from the actual DC comics message board [created months ago, how cool would it be to be the person who started that thread]. The dialog was pretty bad, especially from conner I thought. Geoff was off his game when it came to writing dialog for this issue. All in all pretty good series, but almost to late to matter.

I sure did love that ending, but I'm with you.
The problem is, Superboy Prime's dialogue has ALWAYS sucked. He's an irritating character. An overused villain. And honestly, he's outstayed his welcome by quite a bit.
I really hope this is the last we see of him.
