If they wouldn't have made the MANY of references to the first film, I would have enjoyed it more. Routh doing Reeve's sign off at the end made me want to puke.

Russ, I was never a fan of Tommy Bond either. Interesting that he was a Little Rascal with Jackie Cooper. It was a big mistake replacing Landes on L&C. They tried to make Whalin some kind of computer expert which just told me they had no idea what to do with him Then they made him a hypnotized sleeper assassin which was just awful.

McClure and Larson really seemed to get Jimmy Olsen best IMO since Larson laid down the pattern and McClure ran with it. He even got the whole Lucy lane thing right with the way he tried to play it.

I've actually seen quite a few Smallville episodes, Legsy. I was a pretty regular viewer in the first 3 seasons or so then usually tried to give the BIG episodes like guest spots or big character appearances a chance later on.
