X-men First Class had TONS of things that contradicted the continuity of the comics---- and some things unnecessarily so.... but overall the movie was so great as a whole, it overrode those parts and at times the changes that were made actually had a better payoff. (ie How Charles and Magneto met; Mystique and Charles' relationship) In the end- didn't matter because it was an awesome movie in and of itself. If everything else is great, who cares if Jimmy turns out to be Jenny- the same would be true--- but since there's no other place to express a bit of annoyance if Jenny is Jim, a forum dedicated solely to Superman movies would be it.  |

I live in Canada, and was watching NHL hockey on TSN, which is the ESPN of Canada. Their logo is just like ESPN's. Anyway, right before they return to the game they show the TSN logo and I hear the MOS trailer music, from the last half of trailer 3 "I will find him!!". The logo flips around and turns into the MOS 'S' with June 14 on the bottom. It was probably only five seconds long, but wow!! They show the MOS commercials a lot. This type of media hype did not happen with SR!
This is a fun time. I haven't been this excited for a movie since Episode 1. I know how that turned out, I believe this will be different. As much as I loved the teaser for SR, the actual trailer got me worried. Yet I have confidence in this.
We are only three weeks away. In some strange way, I almost could wait longer. It's fun hearing people I know say how much they are looking forward to the new Superman movie. It was great being in line for the new Trek overhearing strangers saying they can't wait to see it, Superman fans or not. I'm not used to this. I usually have to defend my love for the character. I don't post here much, more of a lurker, but I have not experienced people hyped for a new Superman movie in my 37 years...

I read it.... it was a pretty thin review, the only spoiler I found was the fate of one of the characters. Not missing much....

That's cool.... Especially as MOS had/has the disadvantage of competing against so many other superhero films in the public's memory.
I know the anticipation for any Superman film can probably never match the anticipation for STM (when there was NO other big budget superhero films and fx tech was still really primitive) back in the day, but it's still neat to hear that people on the street are looking forward to it...
With the newer trailers, I might have to revise my vote for how much MOS will make on the first weekend...

Almost sure this is the film we all have been waiting for!!.dunno if I've missed anything but has it been confirmed that krypton explodes in this movie.because I think it would be a great twist if it doesn't.because of the whole genetically bred race on krypton story and with jor-el having a natural baby,maybe he sends him away to protect him,not because the planet is about to explode.

Like I said, I obviously didn't know about it so why ruin it for me? That's a dick move. It's not a huge spoiler, but still a spoiler.
Edit: I went back and watched trailer 2 and it's a very quick scene. You can't even tell it's Lara for sure and what exactly may be going on.
