Dunno if this is old news or not- Went to my local Walmart today & found that there's PLENTY of tickets unsold for the preview show (sad)--- but that there's an official movie booklet on sale already on the magazine shelves as well as a 'Movie Magic' one that celebrates all the eras of Superman. Pretty cool stuff, apologies if everyone already knew about this-

That makes me want to take a trip to my local bookstore and peruse the magazines. OH WAIT that doesn't exist anymore.

I saw the Movie Magic mag at a store. It looks comprehensive but I doubt it sheds new light on anything that's come before.

It's looking more and more like this movie is going to do Avengers numbers. People are so excited for it.
Some random friend of mine who's not even really a Superman fan posted the trailer on Facebook, and then one of his friends commented "it's pretty much going to be the best movie ever."
I love it.

Yeah, I made a Facebook post about it coming out and a LOT of people have liked it that aren't us.

Yeah.... I'd be HIGHLY suprised if any magazine that comes out regarding Supes had/has much more information about Superman cinema & tv lore than us- primarily, I bought it as a nice package of photos and trivia that won't stay on the stands most likely after this summer.
The bigger suprise to me was that the 'official movie magazine' is already out. Even though both were about $10 each- considering the prices of most magazines nowadays, it wasn't bad.
I am curious, too, how much it'll compare with the hardback on MOS later on in June.... (will report back then)

Interesting that is two crouched take offs we've had now. Presumably it's what he does when he's got to be somewhere fast. If you pause when he takes off from that military base he actually cracks the ground.
But we know he doesn't always do this because we saw him take off in a previous trailer without crouching, and we also saw him hovering.

That new shot almost looks like a carbon copy of Reeve chasing the XK101 rocket. Same lighting, same close-up... and a live actor! Those are the kinds of shots we want to see! The shaky-cam is a bit distracting but I realize they're going for grittiness and pluckiness. I could nitpick his arms being out too wide like he's riding a Harley, but I'll let someone else chime in as my observations are summarily dismissed here these days.

Wow she looks really purdy. Actually kinda looks like Isla Fisher in these scenes.

Fishburne is always a consistent actor. I never doubted he would suck as Perry White.

IT'S AT THE ZIEGFELD!!!! Only 3D, unfortunately, but I'll definitely be going there sometime for my third viewing. I WILL break my No 3D rule to see this at the Ziegfeld.
