I like watching eSuperman II the same way I used to growing up...WITH commercials. It's nice to see the commercial break after Superman picks up the green crystal and the return to Non in the White House.
Only the 1984 commercials on the ABC Cut that my dad taped for me are way better.

Yea,here in the UK I remember the ads being at:
the end of Lex and Otis in prison resuming upon the monitor showing the map of the world at ground control.
Lois and Clark in the water 'this is so embarrassing' to the villains flying prior to landing on water.
the crystal/white house
'Let us take his Favorite'/villains,Lois and Lex flight to FOS
there may have been more,these are what I recall.

The first Superman was also on. They're both on again today, only they're airing the second before the first this time. I never understood when channels did that.  |

Currently in my living room is an eclectic group of 20 somethings watching STM on ion.
Completely enthralled.
It's pretty fucking awesome.

Just like to add that Superman II was on Channel 5 here today in the UK. Not sure if anyone saw it, I had a look through and it was the same fullscreen abomination as before. ;D

I think it was G4 that showed SIII the other night, and right as Clark defeats evil Superman and starts to rip open his shirt, they cut to a commercial. WTF brutal.

Isn't Ion only available in SD? At least directv only has it in SD.
Why anyone would want to watch a movie WITH commercials and in standard def is beyond me. To each his own though.

Could live with SD, P&S would be what turns me off, it is still used all the time on UK TV. BBC2 and Channel 4 are usually not too bad.
