SIII was always the cleanest looking of the bunch I thought, so it's no surprise it looks better than SII theatrical did the other week. I might take a peek, but really want to save my viewing for when the blu-rays come out, eventually.

Saw it last night on 5. Enjoyed more than I had for years!
You could still see some of the wires quite clearly though.

Yeah, the kinda screwed the contrast after the VHS version which used to hide a lot of the wires, especially in the sky for landings and take-offs.

S3 was on G4 last night at 10pm as part of their "Movies That Don't Suck" feature. They usually play 80's movies.

Let me know if "Superman Returns" ever makes it. I've got a bet with ATP

Doubtful. Like I said, it's mostly 80's movies. The only movie I can think of on that feature that wasn't 80's was Fight Club. But then again, I don't watch the movies on the feature because G4 edits the movies for tv as bad as Fox family and ABC family. I remember the first movie I caught on this feature was the 1st Terminator, and it was edited so badly. I thought "Is this some kind of joke? They're calling it 'movies that don't suck', yet they're editing them for tv so badly that its like they're purposely making these movies suck". Seriously, watching it like this was making me angry and made me wanna just pop in my dvd and watch that instead.
Oh, and this feature is usually at 1am. Why movies are even edited for tv at that time makes absolutely no sense to me. One of the HBO channels shows soft-core porn around that time every night. Even South Park is edited for tv in syndication on ch. 11 when it airs at this time. Even though it's not edited like that at all when it plays 3 hours earlier on comedy central. South Park is the only show I can think of that's edited for television, and then edited even further when it plays on another channel in the middle of the night.
Not to change subjects here but in all honesty, if your kids are up at 1am watching tv, whether the kids are 4 or 14 years old, I think it's you as the parent that needs some guidance, not the kids.
