Justice League 2013?

with x-men first class we're seeing a studio get a little braver, that is a "team book" comic book movie with nothing but second stringers. i never thought an x-men movie would NOT have wolverine.

so, a JL movie w/out superman and batman is fine with me (in fact i'd prefer it). now IF they feel superman-twilight and batman-lite are necessary then i don't see how they get away without recasting welling or routh.

see, the welling fans boycotted SR, and now they're pissed at cavill. superman fans may or may not like smallville, but smallville fans are absolutely rabid devoted.
and to a similar extant, superman fans may or may not like SR, but those of us that do are very very supportive of routh.

so, if WB DOES go through with a VERY ill-advised tack of 2 FILM series at the same time with the same characters but different continuity/cast.... i don't see fans getting behind yet another "new" superman.

MY first choice is of course routh, if they do superman in JL at all, but i could wrap my mind around why they'd do the smallville movie and call it a JL movie, since it's already got a cast, rouths costume, and all the characters established. i wouldnt lik eit, but i'd see why it'd happen.

at some point even casual moviegoers are going to say "hey- didnt hey just do 2 movies that show supermans origin?"

IMO, the smallville universe is not big screen material AT ALL.

no, just speculating.
the smallville camp has lobbied for welling to be cast in a feature since season..well since the pilot i guess. there was a hate-campaign against SR because mcg had found and singer had cast routh, then the JL-lite flick was announced and welling was "passed over" again, so again with the fanboy outrage.
if the new JL is to have superman i just wouldnt be surprised if they packaged a smallville movie, and just called it justice league.
heck, they're trying to find a way to get a season 11, maybe they'll do made for tv movies.

i honestly don't care except it's a terrible idea to have to feature film series at the same time. it's dumb, but i just want them to get ONE superman movie right, i won't ask for two.
