So a friend of mine recommended me to read these. I haven't bought any yet. Just wanted to know what everyone thinks of this series.

Read the first volume. It's a pretty interesting idea and good twists. The fact that there are 13 volumes makes it more intriguing.

Been meaning to read this, but I'm not a big Azzarello fan. He wrote one of the worst Superman arcs in memory, and some unmemorable Batman stuff.

Some people are good at writing superheros and their arcs. Some people are good at writing original crime dramas.

That's how I felt. The first story was ok, but kept my interest. The second story was damn good. I was actually angry on how stupid that guy was.
I've been meaning to get more, but I just haven't gotten around to them.

I got the second volume. Literally, INSTANTLY fantastic. The first volume is just a complete set up of all the basics and the goings on. The second one is when shit starts getting GOOD. Damn. It's like REALLY fucking good and I'm only halfway through it.
