Sad news indeed. Funnily enough was just thinking about him the other day. I enjoyed his stint as a Columbo murderer too.

I saw this on the cefax, he was nominated as best actor for the film skippy when he was just nine years old. I do remember him in The Champ Not many left now from the old Supes gang. He was awesome as Perry White.
I never saw any of his other work, but could tell he was a great actor just from how he handled the Perry White part alone.

Check out Columbo's "Candidate for crime" made in the early 70s, I thought he was great in it

He'll always be THE Perry White to me, no matter who gets cast in anything else. Nobody could be simultaneously cranky and likeable in quite the same way his Perry was.

he stole the DP scenes. kidder and reeve were in the movie about him when they were inthe DP

argably the best, certainly for our generation the definitve perry.
i liked lane frost, and a really liked langella, but cooper was DA man.
