Well I finally got the T-shirt for christmas. It was quite an ordeal. Christopher sent me a scan of the LP back in July. It was always my intention to make my own shirt using the t-shirt making kits you can get, where you use a inkjet printer to print the image on special paper and then iron it on. But, I could never get it to look quite right. Our printer is older and is having trouble replicating colors correctly. Then around september or Oct I took the image to fedex/kinko's to have them print it on their printers. But, they said that they don't print using inkjet anymore, and the image needs to be printed using an inkjet onto the special paper. Well I had almost given up. But on christmas morning, boy did I get a surprise. My wife had sent the image to a special printing website that specializes in digitally printing images onto t-shirts. And the shirt looks better than I ever could have imagined. I love it. And it's a one of a kind. Thanks a ton Christopher, you probably just assumed that I either never got it made, or was a jerk and never let you know how it turned out. Thanks a ton. Without your generosity, coupled with my wife I never would have gotten this kick-ass t-shirt.  |

Nice! That looks bad-ass!
I've occasionally considered making myself a "Jor-El" STM shirt, with the STM style "S" in white on a black t-shirt. Or maybe the crytalline "S" on black.

yeah, it's such a good looking shirt. I'm surprised WB never actually made a shirt like this. I love the blue see through STM logo.

Still.... he was great casting--- and he seemed fine with working for Donner. Such a pity that Donner didn't stay- having these actors hate each other on-set could have been great fuel for some great acting moments between the two during the Metro battle (I love the re-inserted bit where Supes and Non go at it in the FOS- even though it's only a second, it's a great suggestion of what the battle might have had, if Donner stayed). And.... I still love that story of a much-shorter Stamp ordering him around on set in the documentary. ("Jack- you bastard!")  |
