In STM they blow up a gas station. In MOS they are going to blow up a 711/gas station, using real pyro work.
This is looking like another Donner homage all over again.

It's a Zack Snyder movie, I'm just happy to see something not being filmed on a soundstage.

Bingo.
The fact that I've seen people standing around outside, in actual daylight, filming stuff fills me with hope.
Have we really reached the point where we're now complaining about WHAT KINDS OF THINGS ARE BEING BLOWN-UP? If so, it's time to shut down the internet.

If you shoot me, you're liable to lose a lot of those humanitarian awards.

It's a political statement.

It's a political statement. That's not topical though. The movie should have a bank explode.

all i can say is, they'd better play "give a little bit" on a car radio before the gas station explodes, otherwise this film can fuck right off.

Is John Glen still free for second unit directing?

Although, I question why there seems to be such a focus on Smallville. They think if they change the location people will stop making comparisons to Superman II? So in this version, zod and flora pick up a tractor -- and Supes says, "Don't do it! The farmer!" ?

If I were to guess, it would involve Zod and Faora purposely arriving in a similar location to where Kal-El's rocket landed, in hopes of finding him or getting his attention.

That's one way to keep the budget minimized - it's a lot less expensive to blow up hick cottages than skyscrapers. Just ask Lester.
