jesus tap-dancin christ!  you have to loan these to the superman museum! wow- you're fake-hair looks better than what reeve wore in the movie! fantastic. outstanding work. i hope you're a nice guy. because people this talented are usually pricks.  haha, er thanks, i think.lol I would like to think im not a prick but its not for me to decide so ill leave it to your judgement. I know alot of sculptors who do this type of stuff and MOST of them are really nice guys but you will always get a couple of guys who think they are gods gift but you just have to let them get on with it. @sebastian. nice photoshop, its not the look i was going for, mainly the eyes as i slightly squinted them on purpose and you have made the jaw too wide and the nose too small but is nice to see what he would look like with a more serious expression. when we going to see more of yours? |

About my my quick photoshop retouch is just a look of what things can be improved over a very good work like yours. You are rigth about the nose, but is not smaller, the problem ( my mistake) is that the two sides of the nose are a little erasured, I did not see that, but the noise is the same. About the jaw I must to it is that wide, see a photo of Chris on that point of view and you will see. About to make the eyes slightly squinted on purpose, I have to say that every artist make their own decisions but in my opinion, that is an option that ( for me) it doesn`t help to make an accurante work, but again, is your desition, and is very respectable. The eyes of Chris are allways in that expresion, much more open, every person have they own face expression typical of their personality, and I can say than that expression is not typical of Chris. The work that you make in the hair is AMAZING, very good but Chris have more volume of hair. The skin texture is very goos but the tone of the skin is a little pale and the only thing that I see wrong is the form of the suoperior lip, but again , it is a very good work. Congratulations and I will look close your Stamp - Zod work that seems to be great to. Soon I will show more images of my work in my bust. |

hi sebastian. as im sure you know, your work is only ever a good as the photos you take of it and unfortunatly, Im not a very good photographer so the lighting in the pictures suffers. have a look at the newer pics with the white background which were taken in natural daylight which would give you a truer idea of the skin tone, also the artificial light (black background) reflected off the edge of teh upper lip washing the colour out so in reality, it is slightly fuller but that said, the upper lip is stretched into a slight smile so would be thinner anyhow. here is my main reference picture.  I havent tried to copy is exactly but you will see that his eyes are narrower. To me, he is "smiling with his eyes" and that is what i tried to replicate. at the end of the day, im under no illusions that its perfect and everyones see things differently but to me, Im very happy with it. I hope yours turns out exactly as you want it too |
