Hi all, New guy here although I am around on some other boards. In a nutsheck, Im a uk special effects artist. I mainly work for the BBC on things like DR Who and it's spin offs and uk films but Im also developing a bit of a reputation as a bust sculptor and have just finished my second full statue. This was a personal project for me that started last year and is my second attempt at Chris Reeves Likeness. The man was such a legend to all of us that I didnt think my first attempt was respectful enough. Anyway, onto the pics          Now, im not one of these overly sensitive, huge ego types of artists that cant take critisism so if you like it, great. If you dont, then by all means say so as is your right. What is important to me is that im proud of it and I think I have been able to do the man justice. Next up on the sculpting bench.....Zod! |

that is fantastic - however i think reeve has one of those faces....no one can get it spot on! amazing work though!!! best ive seen!!!  |

tell me about it. he had one of those faces that could look completly different depending on how it was photographed.
I spent alot of time messing around untill i realised that and then just got on with it and hoped for the best ;D

Cheers for that statement alone! Having said that- That does look cool! Can't imagine the time and effort that goes into making these (not to mention $$$) .... Are you planning on doing the three criminals at the end? |

I am hard pressed to see one flaw in any of those shots... it's a gorgeous piece of work and you should be very proud.
