hi all. having now finished my superman statue, I thought I would have it out my system but looking at him, I was thinking how cool it would be to do a life size Zod to go with him. anyhow, here is the sculpt as it stands now. I "think" im happy with it enough to start texturing but im gonig to leave it alne for a few day and look at it again with fresh eyes. as always, comments and critique welcome

Amazing. Out of curiosity- How long does something like this generally take to sculpt?

Think also how cool it would be to have a life size Non and Ursa to go with Zod....

Hey Rich, you gotta put a voice box in this one with a motion switch that says, "KNEEL BEFORE ZODDDDD!!!!!"

That is awesome. Very nice work.
It's interesting to see a young Stamp without any facial hair.

I don't usually like to pander to artist's egos on the net because I've seen unpleasant reactions (particularly on this board) when posters fairly provide constructive criticism and the artist lacks the maturity to handle it - however, I've got to say that this stuff is incredible! Keep up the great work and keep us updated with the pics

I do believe fettster has sold his soul to the Devil to sculpt this well.

kinda hard to see the resemblance without the facial hair, but it's true what Cypher said, the texture is insane. Hot Toys should hire you

Amazing. Out of curiosity- How long does something like this generally take to sculpt? Sorry, I was looking back and I saw I never answered this. From start to finish, this sculpt took about 24 hours spread over 4 days.

It can be very hard to see a likeness without any hair and it's something I struggle to see through myself and just have to hope I got my geometry right. It's not so much the hair and beard but it's our eyebrows That really define someone's likeness so fingers crossed, stamp will show through when I add them.
