If you are into the history of comics, you MUST get these two books:

They are big, year-by-year recollection of what was going on in the industry and companies. Absolutely fascinating and I guarantee you will learn a lot.
Did you know there was already a super strong character that Siegel and Shuster developed and published before Superman? There was also a character named Jor-L before Superman came to be.
Both books are $50 but you should be able to find them on Ebay for 1/2 that or so. MUST HAVES!
