If you had to recast different actors into the major/regular roles in all 6 Superman/Donnerverse related films (STM, II, III, Supergirl, IV, and SR) who would you pick? If can be anyone as long as they were alive and working in that era.

It's tough to remember all the stars in that era, but it might have been interesting to see either Redford or Newman with special effects makeup as Supes.
Not that I'd replace Reeve, but it would have been interesting to have seen makeup tests with both.
Newman might have been a good Jorel, I think. Redford might have worked..... but definitely in a 'Ben Affleck Daredevil" way.... (and played it older).

I agree. It would have been interesting to have seen what Redford would have done, but it would have been no where near the commitment Reeve put into the role. I think if they had done Dick Tracy around this time, he would have worked better in that role. Now, if it was Muhammad Ali or Clint Eastwood, the less said the better. I still puzzled as to why Neil Diamond (my favorite singer and songwriter) wanted the part. I've also heard that he was considered for Travis Bickle. I'm glad he was in The Jazz Singer instead.
