Was just browsing youtube and happened across this guy, who has translated the main titles of Supergirl onto the piano: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nesVaHUoRyQI really enjoyed hearing the theme translated into a more simple arrangement, and it does maintain it's sense of presence. He's done the same for a number of other scores. Just wanted to share it with you guys, and to ask if you knew of any other similar arrangements for the Williams' score for example. I wonder what a string quartet could do with the Superman March . . .

Excellent, thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed that. It made me realize just how long it's been since I've seen supergirl, a good 10 years or more. I downloaded the director's cut, or maybe it's the international, whatever the longest cut is anyway, last year and never got around to watching. I think it's time to give that a watch I think.

Thanks for that. It'a a really nice theme when you get rid of the annoying noise they added for the credits flying by.

It's the least worst cut.
Worth watching to see Helen Slater in the traditional Supergirl costume, the Jerry Goldsmith music, flying scenes, and I enjoyed a bit with the Argo city stuff. The rest is a bit too campy for my taste. With a good villain played 'straight' it might have played better- but the story also doesn't make a heckuva lot of sense either---(Though not suprising based on the original David Odell script with Superman & what came out without his presence.)
