i've wanted to do some "custom" "SUPER POWERS" figures- but i want it to make sense- i want to have characters that actually would have been IN that line had it continued- - 50th anniversary superman - Jor-EL - earth2 superman
and so on.
the thing that i'm having trouble with is getting the card stock to look like superpowers packaging- i'm trying to find a "blank"- justthe background that i could pastes logos ON to simulate the original packaging- but i suck at photoshop. i've seen on the net where fanboy wankers like me HAVE made cards for the custom figures and i've inquired but have had no feedback.
its no big- but it hought it would be neat.
i have all the parts i need to do a DC/marvel/amalgam of "super soldier" and an adam west batman at that scale too!
i am so nerd.

ive made a green crystal for it too, and i have an idea for making it glow green too! What you thinking? I've done a green crystal, but it's so small I couldn't think of a way to light it up. I've put a light in the crystal console beneath it, so it's under-lit, but having it glow independently would be sweet.

its pretty much an undeglow too booshman, i have a green led attached to a straw, the crystal is inside the straw so the light travels up it into the foam inside the crystal, it works quite well!

Ah sweet. I've been cracking away at my display over the last few days. I'll post some pics when it's done. I'm getting sick of the sight of foam board. ;D

I'm actually in the starting stages of making a base for my Hot Toys Superman as well. It's going to be a bit of project. and once done i'm going to have it set in a nice acrylic display case.
I'm going to have LED's through out it. It's going to be about 14inches from left to right and like 8 inches front to back. it's going to be big.. might end up trimming it down as I move along with it.
It's gonna be a big project but I want to make this as professional as I can.
I just am having a hard time figuring out what material I'm going to use to make a base that big... any ideas? I was thinking about wood... but that might be too much work.
