Has anyone here ever thought of Finney as Luthor back in the day? The guy would've been Luthor personified.

If an 80's comic version of Superman was made in the 80's, then FUCK. This guy would have owned in a purple and green suit!

He's definitely has the Luthor look right there in that picture.

I checked and they have Annie on NetFlix streaming if you want to check out Finney in the role. It's kinda fun to pretend that he's playing Luthor in the film.
Ann Reinking actually looks like a great Lois, though she may be too "theatrical" for the part in the Reeve series.

there was a line of ANNIE dolls/action figures- don't know who made them- and they were to scale with the mego superhero line.
several years ago at mid ohio comic-con, i saw the daddy warbucks figure/doll in among the megos and it took me a while to figure out what i was seeing- it LOOKED LIKE a mego lex luthor perfectly to scale- but attired as corporate lex! ;D
so, yeah- he totally could have been a lex. and he heven has an action figure that'd display nicely with the mego superman!

I haven't seen Annie in years. I used to really like that movie when I was little. Watched it a lot.
Maybe that's where my thing for redheads comes from lol.
I wanted to pick up the anniversary DVD but its freakin full frame. Bah!! Who puts out a anniversary edition, that's barebones and in full frame? I'll prolly get it on blu when it's released.
