Well...I mean....in the grand scheme...it makes SENSE. It's ALWAYS made sense. Superman and Wonder Woman. They are the only ones who could fuck each other without killing each other.
I'm not buying new comics anymore, so I don't care TOO much, but yeah...enough's enough with Lois. Give Clark/Supes something new.

Yeah, why not? The Clark/Lois thing has been stale since the marriage.

When I heard about this in the internet ... another idea keeps on recirculating over and over again.
This is one idea to boost sales at DC Comics ... and I simply care less about it.

I'm caring less and less about Nu52 with every week that goes by.
The only titles I'm really enjoying are Animal Man, and Green Lantern. Nothing Superman wise is doing it for me. But, as much as everyone craps on it, I still enjoy justice league, more for (gasp) Lee's art than anything as the John's writing has not been the best on that title. I am looking forward to Shazam playing a bigger role in the JL.

Yeah, but if Shazam is formed by all of those stupid kids, ala Captain Planet, then I'm out.

not exactly breaking news- it was suggested as soon as new52 was announced, nor is it really a bold idea.
the concept of superman and wonder woman being an "item" or having sex and having children is not at all new.
the "dark knight returns" with frank miller has superman still very youthful, in the (shitty) sequel he has a daughter with wonder woman and has sex with her and gets her pregnant again. thos are actually the only good aspects of the story.
in "kingdom come" diana and clark have a connection, and in the follow up "the kingdom" they have a child together.
it makes story sense, in make mythos -sense (thats a phrase right?) doesnt bother me, its the least egregious thing about new52.
but i'm like kev- i just dont care anymore. i hope man of steel is a good movie, and i hope that if it is good the superman comics will look like that instead of what they are now.

Wonder Woman is a way better piece of ass than Lois.

Wonder Woman is a way better piece of ass than Lois. TOTALLY trading up there.

I always liked Bruce Timm's take on it when they were doing Justice League in the DCAU. He compared Superman and Wonder Woman getting together to being as cliche as the high school quarterback and head cheerleader coupling up. Making it Batman and Wonder Woman instead was a lot fresher and more interesting.
That said, in the stories that they DO hook up that Jor mentioned, I do like how it was done. Of course those all happened after Clark had already been there, done that with Lois and she was now out of the picture. This coming before Lois & Clark ever happens casts quite a shadow on their inevitable future romance; I'd imagine Wonder Woman is a tough act to follow.

Superman and Harley. Maybe Kal digs crazy chicks. Now that would be a big change in the status quo.

The follow-up in to this in Justice League #13 was nice. It's not taking over the story and I appreciate it not being a gimmick, but a natural, mature evolution of the relationship between these two characters.

I don't get too excited for DC power couples...last one I was remotely interested in was Beast Boy and Raven, stemming from my love of the two from the Titans cartoon, but I've always loved Clark and Diana together, there written like high school sweethearts nine times out of ten and Diana's always had an "aww" factor about her. For all her amazonian roots, she has a real heart and wit about her, something to counter Lois' city-slicker cynascism.

WW is often written as cold and calculating, though.

WW is often written as cold and calculating, though. I don't read enough of WW to pick that bit up, I mainly follow her apperances in other comics and cartoons where she's handled a bit better
