...sort of.
So over the weekend I went on a group camping trip with my girlfriend, who is wonderful (gloating about her whenever possible; I've officially become everyone I hated in high school). She made hints about a birthday surprise, but I wasn't prepared for being blindfolded in front of 30-odd people, then handed a bat and told to go at it. Ok, it's a pinata, I'll just go at it and get this over with.
Several dozen frustrated hits later (it was on a string being pulled back and forth, which I guess is normal for pinatas?), I hear the damn thing fall to the ground. The blindfold comes off, and turns out I reenacted gazer's least favorite scene from SR.
A bit of faux-shock and sadness occurred, but I loved it! She coordinated with 30-odd people to make my birthday just that much more special.
