Olly, I'm going to sound like a broken record but you need to get hired by the BFI. That way you can safeguard the preservation of important docs like the stuff you post here. Not to mention your always interesting and informative podcasts that you post each week. Just keep up the good work.

Wow, other than the stuff where he was interviewed training in the gym for Superman, this is the youngest I've seen him in an interview. Really interesting to watch. I have to say that I don't think I'd get on well with the young Reeve.

Not only was he a a good tennis player, but a great pianist and an amazing ice-skater... did you see those moves at the end?!!
Funny that Marlon Brando's piece of advice to Christopher Reeve was almost a premonition warning of what to avoid...
Brando had told Chris a story of when he was a young actor and he fell off a horse while filming and from then on, chose not to do any dangerous stunts. He was telling Chris to look like Superman and play the part of a hero but don't be a hero and take unnecessary risks. But it's almost as if he was saying to Chris... "Don't get on the horse".
Spooky what then happened in 1995!

I second that!
In viewing the interview.... wow.... he just comes across as SO... young!
It makes viewing his STM/SII work that much more impressive, given how much he carried himself with so much confidence and authority in the films. He seems so enthusiastic and eager to do good work in the first part, that no wonder Donner loved him so much!
