The more I think about it, the happier I am that MOS is not using the Williams music, and that it's Hans Zimmer. There are a couple of his themes that I really like and which I could easily imagine as part of a Superman film. I almost wish the Thin Red Line music used in the comic-con trailer was actually written for MOS.
But he's done some great stuff. I love his Pearl Harbour and Gladiator scores

It's either going to be generic, unmemorable yet passable, or it's going to be AWESOME. Zimmer can't really do in between but he's definitely capable of creating something incredible. His past work more than proves that, especially the ones ATP somehow unironically posted.

Willams set the bar so high(the highest IMO)..So unfortunately whatever hans produces wont be superman, im my eyes at least..
Hopefully someone will edit MOS with williams theme..
I know i know get over it..But i cant.....

Someone already did the williams music over the MOS teaser and it flat out sucked, mainly because the music didn't fit the tone of the trailer atall. New take on Superman, it'll have a score tailored to that new take, the way it should be. |

you could easily use almost all of gladiator and paste it on superman and it'd fine.

I've been listening to BACKDRAFT and that would also fit MAN OF STEEL - very patriotic, rousing, march theme!

I really hope we hear some actual score in the trailer but I'm not counting on it. They're a LOT they could piece together to make it really work with Zimmer's stuff.
Boy, I hope the music's good. Half the battle's won if the music's good.
