I've read a lot of the books the article referenced, most recently the Larry Tye book, and all of them are well done and very informative. I highly recommend them if you want to read about Superman's creation behind the scenes and some insightful analysis of the character and his place in the world as modern mythology. Brilliant stuff.

By the way, I saw another headline that read, "Galaxy's center tastes of raspberries and smells of rum." Holy shit, where do I sign up for an expedition to the center of the Milky Way? That sounds awesome!
