I have been wondering for a while now, what WB will churn out to promote MoS, this looks like the first release...
(Superboy Season 2 is out now on DVD over in the US)
Just got this update on my Fb feed: Not quite sure what I make of it to be honest. Quite a mixed bag of material isn't it??

Three months ago we had the news that Best of Warner Bros.: Superman TV Collection was coming to DVD in 2013. At the time we even had an early look at the cover art. Now Warner Home Video has formally announced this title, with a May 7th street date for the (a bit over a month before the new film, Man of Steel, hits theaters). Cost is $98.92 SRP for a 30-DVD collection. Here's what you'll get, spaced out among 3 disc cases (each holding 10 discs) slid in one big gift set:
Disc Case 1:
Smallville - The Complete 1st Season (6 discs)
Superman Serials: The Complete 1948 & 1950 Collection (4 discs)
Disc Case 2:
Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman - The Complete 1st Season (6 discs)
Superman: The Animated Series - Volume 1 (2 discs)
The New Adventures of Superman [1966 animated] (2 discs)
Disc Case 3:
Adventures of Superman - The Complete 1st Season [1952 George Reeves] (5 discs)
DC Universe Superman Doomsday Direct-to-DVD Movie (1 disc)
Max Fleischer's Superman: 1941-1942 (2 discs)
Superman - 13 Heroic Ruby-Spears Episodes (2 discs)
It also includes a 24-page Collector's Book, too, and contains English subtitles (unsure if this is on ALL material, however...but we have reason to believe it might possibly be on all of it). This release is part of the Warner Bros. 90th Anniversary celebration, so pop the cork and enjoy!
Personally I'll be happy with the complete Superboy collection, Lois and Clark series 1 & 2 and maybes some Smallville too (before it went down the pan).
What do yous think?
