Reboot's winning. I dunno, what do you think most normal folk out there in the world think? The kind of people who DON'T talk about anything on the internet? Think they'd care if it was a reboot or a sequel to Returns? Hurm. Who knows. The general public's thoughts on the Superman situation are probably: "Oh yeah, I forgot about that last Superman movie. When did that come out?" "I never saw it but I remember him getting shot in the eye in the trailers. That was pretty cool." "Is that Superboy show still on the air? That guy should be old enough to play Superman now, right?"

A lot of people thought Batman Begins was a prequel to the previous films. The public, the ones that don't go on the net for much besides porn, don't know or care if its a sequel or reboot.

Brandon at the Watchmen premiere last night, He also said this in an interview, Brandon Routh hasn't worn Superman's tights for a few years now, but the actor said he didn't envy the cast of Watchmen their spandex outfits. "I don't have spandex envy," he said at the Hollywood premiere of the superhero film, adapted from the popular graphic novel. "I stay as far away from it as I can now but my heart certainly goes out to them. I understand what it's like to have to wear these suits for a long time." Despite his lack of love for Superman's tight outfits, Brandon said he would be keen to play the infamous hero again in a sequel to the 2006 film Superman Returns. "Warner Brothers are still trying to figure out what they want to do," he said. "I'm sure they are thinking and talking about it every day. When they know I think we'll all know. I'm still interested [in the role]. Absolutely."www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk/showbiz.html/Brandon-Routh-spandex-envy/article-741709-detail/article.htmlWell, again, he mentions a sequel....

They went with a combination of Reeve's Kent hairstyle and the hairstyle from Superman birthright. i dug it. It looked modern but at the same time looked like something Clark Kent from the Reeve films would wear.

They should really trim his hair for the sequel. And keep it black.

Theres a TON of potential in jokes/ fan nods in Clark Kents press pass ID number.
I'm sure one was done on purpose. Anyone else want too guess what some of those numbers could mean?
1938 is obvious.

05266 could just be random since Lois also has the same first five numbers.
The only thing I can think of is May 2, 1966. Is that a significant date?

1952 is when The Adventures of Superman went on the air. Christopher Reeve was born in 1952
Dean Cain was born in 1966. The animated NEW Adventures of Superman also went on the air in 1966.
Could be a coincidence but who knows.

Routh was born in 1979 while Superman II was in production. Welling was born in 1977 while STM was in production. Coinkydink? I think not!

LOL. I think Singer could have put those numbers in there for a reason .Not sure Welling and Rouths parents could time conceiving their children for the production of movies! Then again ya never know.
I'd love to know if those ID numbers were just random or not. The last 4 digits of Clark's simply can't be.
There's so many little nods in that movie. The cover of Action comics number 1, the Fleischer influences. The shot of him walking towards the minigun/chaingun as the bullets bounce off is right out of the animated shorts.
