eh? Who the heck has said anything about this?
Kev, a few references or whatever to STM is fine, but a thin remake of the entire film? Come on, surely you'd want to see something more original? Where was the snappy dialogue? Where was the sense of fun, romance and grandness in this film? There was none.

Brandon did a fine job and i'd love to see him back who ever directs it.
It's my understanding that the Hulk re-boot sucked hard.... and that Batman is so far the only successful re-boot...
Slow down WB! Lets see the Wrath of Khan ! I have every faith in the Singer team.

Then they find Routh. Somebody who actually dared to step up to not only fill Supes shoes but now he had to fill Reeve's. He was in for a nigh on impossible job and practically everybody thought he'd be the weak link in the film. How wrong we were. Debatable.

To me, any rookie that can get that close to Chris Reeve's stunning interpretation is okay in my book, I thought Brandon Routh did an impressive job with the little he had to do and want to see him grow in the role. Bring Routh Back!

Routh is the perfect example of honoring what has gone before while stepping forward to somewhere new!
Singer knows what he's doing and takes his job as Superman caretaker very seriously from all indications....what better man to have helming the best Superman since Reeve?
BRING ROUTH BACK!
BRING SINGER BACK!!
BRING SUPERMAN BACK!!!

We should go and vote for Routh in the poll on Superman Homepage, he still has the lead but looks like Smallville fans got wind of it: www.supermanhomepage.com/news.php

We do make the rockin' world go round. Nerd-bottomed girls? Is that possible? ;D I'd also like to add that for anyone participating, it might also be smart to send mail in Alan Horn's direction. Not only does he wear bigger pants than Jeff Robinov (Jeff's prez of WB Pictures Group, Alan is prez of WB Entertainment, period), but apparently he's more supportive of a sequel to SR than a reboot. It'd be good for him to know there's fans out there who feel the same way. And the address you have to put on the postcard/envelope is shorter. ;D Alan Horn President, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. 4000 Warner Blvd. Burbank, CA 91522 I've modified my photo-love approach--since I'm the originator of the trend, I can get away with doing only a direct replica of Bryan's poster. But to make a more focused and specific impact, I uploaded hi-res printable images of my poster, including one with the Bring Routh Back logo, for other people to print out on letter-sized paper to hold up in the their photos. You can download them here: Poster w/logo: www.sendspace.com/file/p6adifPlain poster: www.sendspace.com/file/xqbgbuGo stand on the Great Wall of China, in front of the Washington Monument, on the Eiffel Tower (without the nuclear bomb!), or just on the sidewalk by your house if that's all you can reach. Maybe find the theater or comic shop where you first discovered your love for Superman. Go nuts!

Bring Routh back. He's the best thing to happen to Superman on film and TV since Donner/Mank and Reeve in 1978!
Do we really want to wait 30 years for something (someone) this good to happen to Superman again?! I say no.
Bring Routh Back!!!

For those who really want to see Routh and Singer return, now is the time to act. No one can really be sure what's going on behind closed WB doors, so we must show them that not only was Superman Returns a box office hit, was critically acclaimed, and was more FILM than popcorn film, but it gave us Reeve's true successor...Brandon Routh.
Decide this day with whom shall you stand.
Bring Routh Back! Bring Singer Back!!! Give Superman Returns a sequel!!!!

I've heard all manner of things going on at WB, and it's all speculation. Like I've said in the past, this is something I don't mind jumping the gun about or wasting time on, because we just don't know beans, period. It certainly doesn't hurt.
