Ugh, what a roller coaster. I'm just gonna close my eyes, plug my ears, and go lalalalalalalalala, and hope that when I stop, I'll see a new Superman sequel.

You will see another Superman movie. The question is whether it's going to be a Singer sequel or a reboot. My money is on a sequel.

That's why I said sequel. I'm hopeful, and a reboot will piss me off.

I wish you guys were more proactive and supportive with this campaign, seriously. I'm convinced that a big part of why WB came to the conclusion that people in general just didn't care about the SR franchise, is because of how amazingly LOUD the haters have been. They may not be the mayority but they have been, until recently, the loudest and more persistent......until WB finally heard them, sadly. You know why our BRB campaign got the attention of Variety? Because we SR and Brandon Routh fans, and we are a lot, finally understood that we need to be as loud, if not more, than the haters. But that's just me. I guess, I need to understand that maybe not all of us feel the same way about this whole thing. Hopefully, WB is finally paying attention to us Superman fans, and our wishes for this wonderful character on the big screen., and if they decide to reboot the frachise, which I think is a huge mistake, to at least get Brandon back for the role. I just can't see anybody else wearing those tights. He is the Superman of this generation, imo.

Good point.
I'm just a bit annoyed that each week, there's a new rumor or official announcement.

^Awesome pic! I don't know if you guys have seen these very recent pictures of Brandon(from last month, I think) or knew about this article by the British hecko! magazine. IMO, he just screams Superman here. WB are fools if they think they can find someone better than him to play Superman in the next S film: www.brandonrouth.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=225&pos=3www.brandonrouth.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=225I tried to copy and paste the first picture, but it didn't work. Also, I member of our BRB campaign just found about this French petition asking WB to bring Routh back, and it has over 200 signatures already!! Cool! Here it is. Please, sign it. keep-routh.superman-legend.fr/index.phpAnd this is the French Superman site that started it: www.superman-legend.frFor those who don't know any French, like I, Prenom means name, and Nom means surname/last name. The rest seem pretty easy to understand, imo. If not, just ask me. So far, our petition already has 317 signatures, plus the 200 ones from this French petition, we have over 500 signatures in support of Brandn to return. Nice!

A link with pictures from the Grassroot Soccer UNITED Celebrity Soccer Match,www.wireimage.com/itemlistings.aspx?sr=1&igi=336713&cl=1And the following link and quote is from a blogger who attended the event, I guess, it's funny. Just scroll down a little. "This is incredible. That's Brandon Routh who played Superman in Superman Returns...in the Superman pose! It's kinda awesome that he was just doing it on his own without prompt. It's like seeing a Parisian bar fight and realizing that's Zidane who just head butted someone."
"Then he flew off to that weird planet with all the ice and crystals and stuff that he lives on and we were all just like "f*ck, that's crazy". But then we were all like "meh" and watched Youri and Yannick (the French Connection) almost connect on a far post banger. Only in New York."theoffsiderules.blogspot.com/2008/10/in-pictures-grassroots-soccer-vs.htmlgeekgasm? haha!

More from the event, Probably the biggest cheer of the first half came when Routh, who played high school soccer growing up, swooped in and the ball deflected off his left calf into the goal, leaving a stranded Zohn shaking his head. "Next time try Kryptonite, Ethan," a fan cried. (Routh's autograph was by far the most coveted of all the celebrites, especially by the female fans in attendance. No surprise then that later that night Grassroots auctioned off a "one- to two-hour private party with Superman for up to 10 women." The bidding started at $650.)soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=578856&&cc=5901And this: “Someone cover Superman!” The screaming cry comes as the soccer ball nears “Superman Returns” actor Brandon Routh. With a quick flick of his foot, Routh dishes the ball to World Cup star Alexi Lalas, who deftly cuts a swath up the field, leaving a wake of humbled celebrities looking a little sheepish. www.ezohn.com/news/daily-news-reporter-plays-soccer-with-celebrities/ lol
