These are some panels/pics of the upcoming Superman: Earth One comic. He totally resembles Brandon. The Daily Planet globe is also very similar to the one in SR. The artist is Shane Davis and his Superman always looks like this. I assume he really likes Brandon's look for the character. I love that, btw, but it gets me thinking, Why keep using Brandon's likeness in the comics if he's not going to continue playing the character in the next film?

^^Dude.. he looks exactly like BR. If you don't see it then sorry but you need glasses. Most everybody I know concur that it looks like BR. And the way the hair looks here, it could go to either side, imo!

There's a serious resemblance there. I'm turned off by Superman: Earth One because I really, really, really don't care for the writer. And, what's it about? A young Superman trying to decide if he wants to be Superman.

But I'm very tempted to pick up the comic.. for the art, you know.. ;D oh and I like the shape of his underwear too, lol.

It's the ears and lips, that's throwing me off. I do see it, but it's very vague resemblance.

Now, there was a DC comic a couple of years ago and the resemblance was uncanny. The comic looked exactly like Routhy. I was trying to look for the picture, but I wasn't able to find it.

^I disagree. I think the ears and lips look very similar too (thin lips).

And yes, I know there are other drawings from the comics that look a lot like him too. I have some of those. But this rendition is also obviously based on BR's looks, imo.

I think he's the same guy that posted here a couple of years ago about a Welling for Superman campaign, remember him? I think his name was TW4Supes. Yeah, I think it's the same guy. He used to have the same handle over at superhero hype but changed it because other posters teased him about it. .

.... Sounds like the characterization might not be so good. Who knows, hard to tell without reading the book first, I guess.

And I've seen images of young Clark, and he looks a lot like Welling. Adult Supes, however, resembles Brandon.

I really like Mary for Brandon's Supes.

Sad Brandon probably won't play Superman again on a movie, because to me he resembles and embodies the character perfectly. Best Supes/Clark next to Reeve for me.
