Not sure how a Abrams Superman would turn out, but there's ONE thing I can virtually GUARANTEE:
The chicks would be HOT.
I was just rewatching Star Trek Into Darkness.
Ooof, Abrams has great taste in broads. Zoe Saldana, the Carol Marcus chick. Shit, the green chick in ST 09 is hotter than all the Nolan chicks COMBINED.

I dunno. I'm siding with Enrique on this one. I'm not going to get to know these actresses or anything. They're in the movie to give me something nice to look at. heck, I didn't give two shits to see "Thor" until I saw Natalie Portman was in it. Maggie Gyllenhall has never made me think twice about seeing a movie. Otherwise ... damn, I might as well watch WWE Divas wrestling matches for their technical skills and expert submissions, not because a titty may pop out on live TV.  |

Performance is more important than looks every time. Otherwise you'd cast bimbos in everything. (It does happen, but when it does it's usually bad because it's done for the wrong reasons.)
Gyllanhall was infinitely more convincing than Holmes.
