Here's one- my dad took me to see STM when I was 4.
He is NOT a "scifi/geek/cartoon" kind of person. He only took me because I was 4, and it was a movie you take kids to see.
Other than that, he's seen STM and S2 maybe once or twice on tv in the 80s.
He's mildy puzzled/borderline annoyed I'm so obsessed with superman and generally speaking geeky.
But to THIS DAY, any time that any one in any context EVER does anything clumsy, drops anything or narrowly avoids faceplanting he always, without fail, never doesn't say:
"Funny those cat-like reflexes"
That's the one line he kept and repeats 30-odd years later.

Maries favorite superman is brandon routh.
She'd leave me in a second.
HER line from SR is "...tell the truth now...."
She says it just like richard whenever one of the boys tries to wiggle out of who it was that spilled the pickle jar or ate all chips or whatever...
I actually have found myself sort of subconciously emulating routh when it comes to keeping upset people calm:
"...is everyone all right?"
"...I didn't do anything...good night."
That tone he has is exquisite, and perfect as paternal role model.
