I'm kind of disappointed that there was no sequel just for the music. Aside from the Williams stuff, I thought John Ottman had some wonderful new material in SR. There are a few really beautiful pieces in there that have no basis in the Williams stuff. Totally original. He's a fine composer. The opening of "Reprise/Fly away" is so moving. I find some of the more melancholy pieces work fantastic for when I'm writing and need a sad mood or atmosphere for a scene. Of course, I love the CD arrangement of the opening titles. It sounds so full and vibrant. I know a lot of work was done to restore the original '78 Williams recordings, but give WB credit for putting a lot of production value into the score. It sounds magnificent.
