"Flight" music: movie version vs CD version

Did anyone notice that in the movie version, the "Flight" music has got more going on than the CD version.

It's like there's a whole background of music going on in the movie version which isn't in the CD. Like violins or something.

Check out this clip from the movie and you'll hear what I mean. Especially from 30 seconds onwards:



And here's the version that's on the CD. All that background music is gone!



You still have the main music, but that richness in the background is missing.

Yeah I hear that.i for one hope that the recording sessions leak for this score someday,and hopefully get some film edits of the score.the more I listen to this score the more I love it,epic in every way

A guy from SlashFilm has a cool video contrasting the main themes from Williams and Zimmer. Not really saying one is better, but pointing out some interesting things non-musicians may not pick up on. i have a small bit of musical talent, and even I learned a few cool things.
