Saw a report today on Man of Steel Fanpage on Facebook that Batman's new look will be largely based on 2011's Batman Noel comic. They also said they're "updating" Henry's super suit (I hope they don't change too much, it's damn near perfect), and that the same guys at GM that designed the Tumbler are also giving their input on the new Batmobile. I'm on my phone right now or else I'd link to the article and post pics, but y'all know how to google.

Yep. They mentioned the cowl specifically. Short ears. I like it in theory but it's all in the execution. Falls in line with Miller's Batman.
And the costume seems more Captain America: First Avenger fabric/soft armor/kevlar looking, I would LOVE if they continue in that direction and get away from the black rubber.

Rumors going around that the Batmobile is going to resemble an old Cadillac.. We going to see something more practical?
The costume in the images above.. i don't know if I really like that design.. I like the idea of the cowl with the shorter ears, but if it's going to be more kevlar stuff like that and away from the black rubber and all black in general, I'll be a happy camper.
Regarding Superman's suit.. what is there to do to it? They made it perfect I think.. unless they are either going to add the trunks to it, or brighten the colors up on the suit.

Yeah, I can forgive him for that. The dude is one of us that made it and lost contact with reality but was brought back down to it. He knows his shit. I'd LOVE to hang out with him and just get baked and talk about superheroes. Christ, that'd be awesome. Maybe. I'm sure he's really a douchebag. Then again, he was VERY upfront about Bruce Willis being a prick a while ago, before everyone else started doing it, too. You can at least trust what he's saying is true...from a certain point of view.
I bet the Batsuit will look like a mountain climber's outfit, only more steamlined and not as bulky. Practical, possible. I hope Smith's right about it.

Captain america the first avenger had the PERFECT live action comic book costume. Flawless, logical and utilitarian. Put pointy ears on it and paint it grey/blue/black and ...perfect. |
