The flight scene. It's wonderful. I catch myself kinda steering like he does, or kinda flexing my abs as if that is what propels me. Turned up, this scene is INCREDIBLE on home video. The 3D version was so fucking amazing.
I'll answer for most on this board:
The end credits! DOOHOOHOOHOOHOO! DOOOOOHOOHOOHOOHOOHOO!

Yep, same. Flight scene for me. I love the build up of the music. Some of the camera work is a bit annoying but the more I see the less it bothers me.
Otherwise it's the Smallville setpiece.

Yeah, they should've stayed tighter on him the entire time. I would love, love, love to see a shot that follows Supes from ground to space. That'd be so cool to see. I do like how you kinda see some strain to the flying. There's effort in it.
Otherwise, the opening sequence. I adore the Krypton stuff. It was so well realized.

Not trying to be sarcastic, and I don't know if this counts: I LOVED LOVED LOVED the final trailer. Gave me/gives me goosebumps.

The flight scene with emphasis on the silhouetted shot of him leaving the scout ship.
The scene where he's just been smashed with a train in Smallville, he walks out of the wreckage with the Soldiers looking on in awe, before Hardy says "This man is not our enemy" an he explodes off the ground.

I enjoyed the drifter Clark phase of the movie. I also liked the initial suspense of Zod's arrival, screwing with the TV and the power.

I really liked how Zod introduced himself to the world. Creepy shit.

I loved the ending credits because it meant I could log on to this site and tear down Kris' idol.

Anyway,
Krypton was fantastic too. The best version we've seen on screen so far.

I'm sure the pictures you put up recently were of a grown man.

The Smallville battle is awesome ... the finest visual effect for me is the bit where he slams Faora into the road in a shower of rubble and the camera whips round just in time to see him skidding to a halt. I love it. Give Snyder his due credit ... can't wait to see the sequel.

Jimbo and Brad, good call, I truly find that noise used at the beginning of Zod's message, before Clark opens the door, just terrifying.

The end scene. "Welcome to the Planet"/"Glad to be here Lois."
PERFECT way to end the movie, the cutting to the title and the main theme. Love it.

Any scene with Faora. She's easy on the eyes.

Any scene with Faora. She's easy on the eyes. Totally. Which is more than we can say for Adams.

I like Amy Adams but damn was she miscast. She's not BAD in the film but she's not right either. When she tries that Lois Lane attitude on it comes off as forced or inorganic. she's naturally just way too sweet like she is in real life. Where's that Lois fire? She looks older than Cavill too but she looks good. The age difference would be fine if Cavill looked the age he was playing.

I thought the Smallville battle was one of the best parts- but the superspeed parts to me come off as more comical and cartoony, and takes away from the action sequences, rather than enhancing it. I get the choice, it might even be more 'realistic', but since we're dealing with fantasy anyhow- I would have actually have enjoyed (and it would fit perfectly here) the 'speed ramp' effects that used to Snyder's signature.

She looks great, but I agree--- but then again, I feel Ben Affleck is also miscast. Just going along with the ride wherever it goes in the Snyderverse at this point....
