The complete SR score arrived a few days ago and I've listened to it a few times now. Though I'd heard most of it before having acquired the bootleg mp3's several years ago the recording quality here is outstanding. Here's a few extra nuggets of information;
The return to Krypton cue is presented as a synth mock-up. According to the liner notes Ottman realised well before scoring that the scene wouldn't be used. Apparently he only put together a synth track for the DVD so fans could get an idea what he had in mind. As it turned out the scene didn't feature on the DVD and wasn't seen until the blu-ray release which apparently Singer didn't approve of.
Another bonus track that was interesting to listen to was the original extended prelude/main titles. It's essentially a condensed version of Williams STM prelude/main titles cue. The SR documentary showed what Singer had in mind for this sequence but I had no idea that they got as far as to score the scene.
It scares me to think that Singer originally wanted the same introduction with the curtains and the comic book.

Sounds utterly fantastic. Listened to a few bits on the web site. I love how Ottman added a bit of vocal to the Krypton theme.
