Ignore acting ability and flying ability. Do you think Dolph Lundgren would have looked the part as Superman, say in the mid- to late 1980s? He had the height (6 foot 5) and physique, that's for sure. Also, he had the classic square jaw and blue eyes. If his hair was dyed dark, I can definitely see him looking the part.

I could see him working in the way Arnold worked as Conan the Barbarian. Great looks, but....
Kind of a slow-witted caveman version of Superman, I would think... ("Kryptonite bad. Fire good!")
Maybe he would have made a great Nuclear Man?

You do know he has a Masters degree in chemical engineering, right? :-) Yeah, I know..... Eventually they might have written that into the scripts! "Krytonite bad. Fire good! The processes that convert raw materials into more useful and valuable forms...." Anyhow- Arnold was a smart guy, too- but the thick accents and slower delivery definitely don't communicate fast thinking. His "Punisher" and "Masters of the Universe" performances were a bit lethargic. He would, however, have been a scary-as-heck Otis!

Id rather not. Back then the dude looked like Nuclear Mans twin in MOTU. Dolph had more Captain America looks anyway. In fact I think he was actually considered at one point.
