If you had to pick one what’s yours? Here are some examples.
Superman Arcade game (1988)
Ruby Spears Superman series (1988)
Superman Returns (2006)
Smallville (2001-2011)
Justice League (2017)
LEGO Batman 2 game
Krypton
And just for the heck of it
Goonies (1985)

Forgot the most recent example. The main theme was also used in a couple of episodes of Krypton.

That’s awful. Reminds me of the Sci Fi Channels Flash Gordon tv show that used Queens music from the 1980 movie in the ads but not on the show. It’s almost like false advertising. So which example of the Superman theme being used outside of the movies is your favorite?

Mine is either the arcade game or Ruby Spears cartoon, if only because of my young childhood memories associated with both.

I loved both. I bet I put thousands of quarters into that arcade game. Every time I saw it at a mall I had to play it. It was fun but I think the music was a huge draw making me feel like it was a movie game.

I'm a fan of Sufjan Stevens, and going through my bootleg collection, found they teased a bit of William's music in their live shows right before "The Man of Metropolis Steals our Heart", a song inspired by Metropolis, Illinois and Superman.
