I wonder if some people were thinking “that lady’s Lois Lane cosplay is on point.”

I wonder if some people were thinking “that lady’s Lois Lane cosplay is on point.” Mixed reaction to this- I do think it's cute, (and, man, Ms.Hatcher definitely has kept her figure!) but part of me is annoyed at how Comicon really has tranformed from celebrating artists and writers to being a 'hey, look at me for attention and building my social media' event. Do I sound like a cranky old stooge yet?

I’m much more of a cranky old stooge than you so...no.
I liked it but my overall problem with comic con these days is somewhat similar to yours. It’s all about movies and tv and internet stuff and merchandise/collectibles. The COMICS side of ComicCon is barely ever mentioned. They don’t seem to get much attention from the media. Not that most comics are any good these days but there are still some good ones and I’d all started with comics. A lot of the stuff they’re there to promote isn’t even based on comics.
These days Hollywood is just there to shill their own sh!t when just a few years ago they couldn’t care less about things like fan cons like these.

I think I'd be far less offended if it didn't ruin what I felt was the biggest best comic book convention BEFORE Hollywood stepped in. I was lucky/unlucky enough to attend SDCC when there were few to no 'big' celebrities and there might have been one or two Hollywood promos, but they weren't that big and you were able to find seats easily. It's odd to think that when Singer came for X-men 2 and Superman Returns, things still were pretty tame (relatively speaking) in terms of craziness and attendance.

They really need to either move SDCC out of San Diego or the city needs to put in some serious construction. New convention center, more hotels, etc. I can only imagine how much money they’re leaving on the table because people either can’t book rooms or can’t even get into all the halls for the panels. Every year I hear how crowded it is and how a lot of people can’t get in.
I might be wrong but it feels like the big huge explosion of the Con happened in the last ten years or so. First time I can remember if being really big was when they had that first panel for Iron Man.

I went steadily for 4-5 years I believe- when Angelina Jolie showed up, it was the first time ever that they had to slow down the flow of people going up the escalators. The year after, it got crazy attendance, and it exploded exponentially since that time. My last year was attending when Singer was promoting "Superman Returns" and someone asked him to ask Richard Donner about getting a Donner cut going. Unfortunately, I missed the year that Donner and Singer were on a panel together & Donner was promoting the 'real' Donner cut.

They’ve basically done in the comics what they’re talking about. I think if done right a L&C movie would be a pretty cool thing for the DC Universe streaming service similar to how Netflix premieres it’s own original movies.

darn, they are still both charming as heck together!
Definitely would be great to have Netflix do an 'else worlds' L&C miniseries with them, though Cain is looking a little more Hulk-like at this convention, but still great to see them together. (And nice to see the affection Hatcher has for her costar decades later.... wonder why she never got him a gig on "Desperate Housewives"?)
UPDATE: Viewed the whole Cain and Hatcher talk--- looks like they DO talk about something like this! (that is, an episode or two of catching up with Supes and Lois 25 years later)

Best Lois and Clark chemistry ever? It’s quite possible. Much like Garfield and Stone even when the stuff around them didn’t work they worked well together on screen.
I think if there was some tension or they were tired of each other by the end of the series the relationship probably warmed some...similar to what’s happened with Gillian Anderson and David Duchovney and even a little bit with Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd. Of course the X-Files revival movie and seasons didn’t quite work so maybe that’s one example of why they shouldn’t revive L&C unless they have a really great take and do it just right.

It's a pity that Hatcher already was on Supergirl- how much fun would it have been to have had an alternate universe episode on Supergirl where Hatcher and Cain play Lois and Superman once again- but at they age where they're at now?

I guess it is possible (we know two different John Wesley Ships Flashes exist in the Arrowverse) but they’ve never put it to the test. Must like the situation with Routh it would be odd seeing the same actors playing two sets of completely different characters.

In an update- I saw the first short vid, but only now watched the longer one- and Hatcher and Cain do mention their wish for something like that, but.... right now it's just a wish, but at least they've even got the thought in their heads--- so, if they wanted to push for it... at least they're the right people to be able to talk to the powers in charge of the show....
