This is a little old news, but.... it really bugs me- comicbook.com/dc/2018/10/16/dc-comics-nightwing-name-change-dick-grayson-ric-grayson/If Dick Grayson has to be changed to "Rick" Grayson because not enough people are named that now... How long before Superman's characters get changed to something more 'common' for fans to 'relate'? Mark Kent, mild-mannered reporter? Lisa Lane? Barry White, editor in chief of the Daily Planet? Len Luthor? Ben Rainiac? Others?

Laurence Fishburne as Barry White...for some reason I can see it. I’m surprised they haven’t had Dlck go by Richard more. Plenty of Richards still being named that but Dlck is too awkward for obvious reasons. Dlck was something a lot of older people went by in the 50s and 60s but even kids didn’t. On tv most Richards went by Richie (Richie Cunningham for example). Rick sounds too odd. I’d rather be just got called Richard and maybe Sometimes Rick or Richie for short. Richie would be a funny nickname for obvious reasons if someone wanted to get on his nerves. I could see DC making the change though. After all Billy Batson was Captain Marvel for 70 years and DC had no problem totally renaming him Shazam. I think Clark is safe. There are still a few Clark’s out there. Clark Duke seems to be doing fine. With all this talk what would Dlck Clark think, CAM?
