Found this out on Caped Wonder's site- Mezco has a new Reeve figure- I don't think it's nearly equal to Hot Toys at all, but... it's good enough and the Fortress stand is kind of cool I'm on a waitlist (november delivery) so I guess it's pre-sold out? Yeah I’ve seen all the photos. I like the head sculpt and the base but I’ve never been much of a fan of those clothed Mezco bodies. They always look kinda squat to me. Something like that works better on 12 inch figures. Still it’s a cool piece. Not sure it’s worth what they’re charging but it’s great to see them making it.

In a couple of days, I can't believe I'm already on the waitlist! (I'm not even sure how far down the waitlist I am either) STM from Hot Toys (which to me has a superior head sculpt) didn't sell out I believe for quite awhile.... I'm hoping that the Arnie Kim prototypes do get made through Hot Toys one day- (but also that I could afford them when they do!) |
