 I saw this on tumblr and it had me thinking… Routh went from dressing as Clark Kent/Superman at a costume party, to trying out for the role in various projects that never went into production, to being cast as Superman in a movie, to coming back to play Superman again 13 years after that movie. If you keep trying sometimes things work out. Maybe you can manifest your dreams. Here’s hoping we get to see Brandon Routh play Superman again in the future. |

Just the fact that he’s in a better looking costume helps. CapedWonder had a fantastic looking manipulation that would have had my stamp of approval. I printed that picture and had Routh sign it for me when I met him at a convention.

I'd be extra thrilled (but don't expect) to see him in the new Flash film. Actually, I'd be extra thrilled if they had him guest star as Superman from another alternate universe on Superman & Lois, then replace the current actor playing Superman (Nothing personal to the actor, just never felt he was right for it. Tyler could play the alternate Ray Palmer and stay on the show.) But..... I rarely get what I want.  |
