m.soundcloud.com/movie-moan/sets/supermoan-the-ultimate-1I came across these old podcasts that mention the Superman Cinema forums. Was wondering if anyone remembered the hosts of this podcasts. It makes me desperately want to look at the old website again, but it doesn’t appear on the Internet Archive.

I remember the podcast but can’t think of any of the hosts names. I think they packed it up and called it a day well over five years ago. Is this the website you’re talking about ? www.thinkmcflythink.com/Looks like this is the YouTube page IF we’re talking about the same podcast. m.youtube.com/@moviemoan

Oh, sorry, I meant looking at Superman Cinema again. I tried the Wayback Machine with supermancinema.co.uk but no luck. On the episode covering the third film, one of them identified themselves as Gus Gorman on the forums.

I remembered trying to access the old Superman Cinema forums- lot of great memories there!- with no luck. One bit I tried to re-access was a link to a John Williams' interview where (if memory serves) he stated Superman, Star Wars, and Close Encounters as his most pleasing film experiences. Star Wars makes sense- given the long association and continuation. Close Encounters, because the music was made first before the visuals at the end (in addition to just being a fantastic soundtrack), and Superman with the celebration of his music at the front of the film with all the credits.

I thought you meant the movie moan website since I also used to listen to them a lot years ago. The old version of Superman cinema is probably long gone though I do seem to remember someone who used to post on the forums had archived much of it a long time ago. Maybe Ye5man? That was many years ago though.
