Whenever I visit a new country, I go to visit the key monuments and pretend I'm destroying them.

Did you visit Washington DC and jump around humming “duh duh duh duh DAH DAH DAH!” When I was in Paris, I shone a laser pointer at the Eiffel Tower, pretending I was melting it with heat vision. And in Washington DC, I ran into the Washington Monument, as if I were smashing it into pieces. I did it all in CGI. |

You DO realize that ruling the world involves more than destroying monuments right?
The logistics or running an entire planet of 8 billion people is more involved than that.
Not to mention 3 people wouldn't be able to properly enforce their rule.

The terrorists in SII almost destroyed the Eiffel Tower, but released the villains instead.
Would have been fitting if Zod then destroyed the Eiffel Tower and the terrorists thanked him.
