I wonder if either of the two documentaries rushed to the finish line, knowing the other was coming out soon?

On a similar note- anyone hear about that "Making of Superman the Movie" dramatized series that was supposed to be on the way? If they're still in the process, I say cast Brandon as Reeve!!!

Routh as Reeve feels too odd. Feels gimmicky. They’d also need someone younger. It’s great subject for a docuseries or film or miniseries though.

As for the two documentaries I think they were developed independently of each other without considering each other. I think we got them now because when they were first in discussion the 45th anniversary of STM was coming up and the 20th anniversary of Reeve’s death was too. It simply worked out the way it did because of timing.
