Ah, and Eva Marie Saint, Martha #2, turned 84 two days ago.
Phyllis Thaxter, BTW, is STILL ALIVE. Not working anymore, but 86 years strong.

Anyone ever notice that Cryer was nearly playing the same character or looked the same in three films around that time? Pretty in Pink, Superman IV, and Hiding Out.

Jon was hired to bring in the "in" crowd at the time. He was Duckie for Pete's sake. Unfortunately, the movie sucked so much that it almost killed his career. ;D
