He's alright, but he's by far the geekiest Jimmy we've seen so far. But he is a lot pissed. :-D

I don't think he was much geekier than say, Jack Larson!
For the most part, I've liked all the guys who have played Jimmy, but Larson, McClure, and Huntington are by far my favorites.
I think Huntington is probably the most faithful looking and acting Jimmy we've seen to the comic version. He's another reason I don't want a full reboot. Just a new Lois and no kid.

Jesus, Pariah, that signature is so 2 years ago. He brought sexy back? The whole world is sick of that song and you want to use that song to bring people to our cause?

It's called being out of touch. You do realize this is gonna make me decide to use it permanently, right? It's actually about half that old and I never got to use it, since the Planet doesn't allow sig banners. It's cheesy and stupid and it's my perrogative. But trust me, I have no actual love for Justin Timberlake. [/end_thread_derail]

How about that Joey Buttafuoco, huh? Huh? If the New Kids on the Block can come back, anything's game. ;D Pariah, the sig rules & I love it. Its funny too. Besides, I think Brandon could bring sexy back a lot more effectively than JT.

Hey, Pariah, use it all you want. I really don't care. At no point was I saying, suggesting, or implying that you should take it off. On the contrary, knock yourself out. I was just expressing my thoughts on it. You do what you want. You want to seem outdated and out of touch and have people roll their eyes and groan, that's your biz. A few people will like it, but if you're looking to convince the unconvinced, that sig definitely won't help.
"Sexy back" is a recently tired phrase. It's too soon for it to make a comeback. The New Kids? Sheet, I was back in high school in those days. I graduated in '94. That tells you how long the New Kids were out of the scene before they came back. Not a good comparison.
Anyway. Just a little constructive criticism.

I've honestly never heard of the term. Must have been an American thing.
New Kids? weren't they dated by 1992? I hadn't realised they were making a comeback. What is it with the 90s bands trying for former glory? Even Cliff Richard is in the top 10 this week, lol

The humor is in the fact that its a lame song by a lame artist, but its being used for something positive, and the use of the "S" in conjunction with all that. As far as " outdated and out of touch" goes, Id like to ask a poll of everyone under 20 who that is in your avatar Sigh, Pariah, Im sorry about this, it takes some of them awhile to get what people are trying to say. Enrique, shes not trying to bring back the phrase " Sexyback". Shes simply using it in a funny matter. Again, part of the humor is that its a tired phrase from a lame song. Jeeze

It also works great with that pseudo-child molester look that Routh has there. ;D

Oh, I get it. I guess I just find it lame.
I was also referring to the notion that New Kids making a comeback, so could sexy back. But I argue, it isn't the same.
Further, my avatar is just my avatar. It's a classic TV show character and it isn't meant for anything else. But Pariah's sig seems to be going for something deeper---a message. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. If it's simply just a sig, then I stand corrected.

Oh, I get it. I guess I just find it lame. To each his own. Also, used as a humorous reference. Simple, its a sig, with a cause, that happens to be funny at the same time. Enrique, Routh loves ya baby. ;D

Lol @ you guys. Jimbo, I tend to think that's his "'Sup, bitches?" face. ;D *snort* No deeper message in this sig. Not even a cause. Just pure unadulterated silliness. That's kinda what we fangirls have a reputation for. And speaking of unnecessary comebacks, I also noticed...90210. [face_barf] So anyway...how 'bout that Jimmeh?

Sam Huntington came THIIIIIS close to losing me. He almost lost me not because of his role as Jimmy, but rather being subjected to the horrific trailer to Sleepover so many times in 2004. Due to seeing Prisoner of Azkaban, Spider-Man 2 and The Incredibles so many times, I must have had to endure that trailer 5-6 times.
One can only take too much of a grown man in high heels saying "it's actually not so bad" to a dog while stomping on hard wood floors.

I've been waiting forever and a day for Fanboys to finally come out. I think now it could be considered one of the signs of the Apocalypse.
